Thanks for sharing your garlic planting. Here in the high deserts of southern Utah, we plant the cloves 4” deep so they won’t freeze. If they freeze, they won’t be able to produce a bulb. This year, I had a good garlic harvest, with some of the largest bulbs I’ve ever grown. And like you said, I broke those bulbs apart and planted their cloves to make more bulbs for next year. We’ll never have to buy garlic again!! Yay!

HOLEY MOLEY!!! "Did well" is an understatement! hahaha Nothing like home grown garlic! Absolutely LOVE the "Tone" products. It's the only fertilizer that I can throw on my plants without measuring and it doesn't kill them. Nice video hun (((HUGS))) Happy Fall! 😄😄😄

Mine 'normal size' garlic should be ready to harvest in about a month. The elephant garlic are huge. 😃

I’m waiting to get our garlic in, we just hit a rainy spell so I had to put it off a few days. I’m trying the red inchelium garlic this year to see how it does for us, I’d be thrilled if it does as well as yours!

Your garlic looks great! I’m considering adding elephant garlic to my garden this year (nothing like waiting til the last minute to order)! I’m not sure how well it will grow in my area, but I think I’ll give it a try – hopefully it does as well as yours did!
