I just done my first heart also. I went really clean in the meat. Just stuck in pressure cooker then to slow cooker mode. I also pan seared a few pieces. It almost tasted like beef in Chinese food. It was easy to clean then other pieces the dogs are getting. Theirs has been cleaned also. Great video.

I have two grass fed beef hearts so I will cook one like this.  I will also try it with the sweet potato too since sweet potatoes are the only type I eat.  Thanks for sharing.

1- Avoid the heart fat at all costs, (even pork belly fat is a better substitute if you like eating fat)
2- I'm certain even 8 hours of slow cooking haven't made the chunks of heart meats tender, but that's fine, that's how it'll be, heart meat is just that way (for actually soft heart meat you should try heart tartare or pressure cook it)

Thank you! I have a grass fed heart and tongue that I have been trying to get up the nerve to prepare. Just watching how casual you are makes it so much easier!  I'm going to try BBQ beef sandwiches tomorrow and see how that works. THANKS!
