This is my Grandma’s Italian Wedding Soup or meatball soup, the dish she’d serve as an appetizer on Thanksgiving Day. A nostalgic holiday recipe for me.

Nice! We have a version of this soup in Bulgaria also. It does not have pasta in it though and we just mix the mince with some herbs like summer savory and a little bit of rice. We call it "Balls Soup" 😀

Looks delicious..Basically make it the same way but I like to saute the meatballs in a little olive oil before throwing them in. I also add a half or whole 8 oz of tomato sauce and some parsley. My cousin does it like you. It's such a good soup. Happy Thanksgiving Steve!!!

That looks delicious maybe I'll add that to our pre Thanksgiving meal. I have such a multicultural family our Thanksgiving dinner consists of traditional turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, sweet potatoes homemade stuffing. Then we add in the tamales and the lumpia and pancit. We put on such a large spread that we all eat leftovers for days.
