Gordon Ramsey is so annoying. Just because you’re a tv personality doesn’t make you an expert in non western cuisines. He thought his dish was better than an Asian chefs because his own dish didn’t contain MSG. Also told a korean chef that his dish wasn’t “authentic” like his own. Please humble yourself Gordon.

when Gordon is called out to make a dish, he turns into a contestant on Hells kitchen who doesn't handle pressure well.. often he strays from the dishes' original recipe and creates his own version. yet if it was someone else doing that, he'd rip them a new one. do it right or don't do it at all.

Asian flavor is same as British flavor. They both explain a taste. British is lacking flavor. Asian flavor is like a way of explaining that the food most likely has sesame oil, or shrimp paste, or soy sauce, or most importantly ginger, etc. You eat anything with those ingredients and you immediately assume Asian. Korean, Japanese, Chinese all use ginger, and most the world doesn't. So that's Asian flavor.
