Elon Musk has only done things that bring him more money and cater to the rich.
So in your opinion no one should work! This world has completely lost their minds.
I love watching you turn food into meals. I thought a lot about your beginning comment on how Jesus's death on the cross didn't seem to accomplish much when we look at humanity since then. From my experience Jesus's death on the cross accomplishes exactly what God's Son meant to do… save individuals who come to Him, believing..For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. As Christians, we mess up time and time again, and some of us just pretend we are Christians like some club to belong to. But that does not negate the power of Jesus's sacrifice… and the power of His resurrection to change individual lives for the past 2000+ years. Just think how bad of shape this world would be in without His saving grace. ❤
I think you might enjoy reading Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer. She's an Indigenous person who is trained in Western science, namely plant ecology, and her book is about relating to the land and to the environment with both of those aspects of her background. I thought of it because of your comments on how every system of governance fails because humans are fucked. I mean, yes, that's valid—but I've been really inspired lately by work people are doing to heal the land and prepare for climate change, and how that work is often being led by Indigenous people and people who are inspired by similar models of governance and relationship with the land. It's helped me to feel some hope when things seem utterly bleak and hopeless.
i understand what you mean about your grandmother. my aunt has dementia and doesn't live with me but I run her household stuff, finances, groceries, health, all that stuff. it's so so tiring and frustrating. i feel you ❤
JUNE YOU LOOK SO CUTE TODAY!!!
Late to watch but glad I caught this. We celebrate… erm… zombie jesus day with chocolate 🤷♀️ lol
Not sure if you read these comments nor if you are genuinely open to suggestions from strangers. Maybe your Grandmother needs to be in a facility where there are more Chinese people with whom she can communicate? Even if it’s further from your house, and you see her less frequently, it might be better for her well-being. I remember you saying there was a potential facility near your Mom’s old place. Anyway, good luck.
You speak 100% the truth. In Australia, Unions always come in to help employees get the best wage increases. Our ambulances, our teachers have all had strong Union support in their fights for fairness. The media does a good job of showing the public the Union protests and have Union heads on to speak. I used to work in local council and without Union our pay would have only increased 1.5% over 3 years. Union support made that 3%. However there is that undertone that Unions initiate workers to strike, which causes problems for the public but it is always a last resort. I think that bit is left out of the narrative and makes Unions appear to some as fast to overreact.
Wow June. Your opening statement pretty much summed up my belief system after being raised for the first 18 years of my life as a (parentally enforced) Presbyterian. I also never know how to acknowledge Good Friday in conversation. So I just usually stay home and eat food and drink wine and contemplate what terrible friends Jesus had.
Love the new curtain.
The one time I asked a question while watching you live & you answered, I squealed. I know, I know. I'm a weirdo. But I'm good with it.
I love your rant. You are wildly smart. I agree with most of your opinions. You are an inspiration and a wonderful role model for our youth. Thank you for all that you do.

hey june, long time no see! i really enjoyed the ranting… as someone who hates cops, i really appreciate you saying the very things that come to my mind. sigh. and your pro-union stance, yay! anyway. i hope you have a good start to your weekend!!
Totally understand your anti police stance. With all that’s gone on. (And I’m from Grand Rapids, Michigan and am heartbroken for the young man who was shot on the back of his head😢)
It sounds like everything is work-related so you shouldn't take the day off.
