Now your foodbank hauls will be all fresh produce and bread, (and sweet treats).. STILL YOU SHOULD STILL GO WHEN YOU HAVE TIME FOR CANNING UP LEFTOVERS AND PRODUCE. Your pantry need lots more jars still, even if your freezers are fulll. If the power goes out,…..well, you know,, you need jarred food most of all,,,a true homesteader doesnt rely on their freezer. All that food you were gifted is a HUGE JOB trying to preserve in jars for longterm storage- some people dont see the longterm perspective, and think you have lots, which you do for a month or two,, but compare to Becky's pantry…you need to get a ton more, KEEP on track, dont fall for the fools comments.

OFF grid with Doug and Stacey says some good things about chickens to know…..eggs -$8 easch and chickens $25 each, check it out, He says you can make a good sside husle with an incubator and raise babies…??? food for thought,,,pun intended.
And not really STOCKPILE per say as much as a half full homesteaders pantry….not a city dwellers pantry…this is different…you stay home all the time and homeschool and live "in the sticks" starting a going off grid pantry…..eventually when your pantry is fuller, you can do things to sell, like jam, spice combinations, ,,hot choc. ect. ect. I sell cabbage rolls, but I have to buy all my ingredients.. At my food bank the vollunteers prepare somethings out of their ingredients,…like spin up some salsa ouit of jalepenos and tomatoes, green bean casserole..or make sandwiches ect to pass out, or snack trays for the daycare. You should offer all your cooking expertise while you vollunteer.

Love your channel. I'm one of your older viewers I'm almost 73. I put my squash and cucumbers up on tomato cages so they don't lay down on the ground. You were talking about redishes I don't care to just eat them but my uncles VFW post use to have a bean and ham dinner ever year and they also had a dish they chopped green bell peppers and redishes and folded them into the cottage cheese was so good.

Would love to see the truck driver meals. I do fix things for the husband to take out with him. It helps that he has a small crockpot and an electric skillet. If he's out a long time he will stop at Walmart and get some groceries.

YOU MUST PLANT THE LUPINE FLOWERS> THEY are the tall purple flowers that grow in Glacier park, they have a spot there with huge fields of the purple flowers, I think its called GARDEN IN THE SKY PARKWAY. They are like 2ft tall spikes of flowers, my all time favourite, but they wont grow near me.

Zucchini and green beans are extremely plentiful. As well cukes and tomatoes, if watered lots really provide a LOT. Corn is only one cob per plant. Green onions and garlic are so fast, you plant every week.they tolerate frost. All those things you said are good for direct sow, MUST START tomatoes inside under flurescent lights, bell peppers usually take forever and dont yield much, even here in the sunshine agriculture capital. They are always greenhouse grown around here. Little red chili peppers grow great too.

Just found your channel and am really impressed with both you and your content! I live check to check and have to use the food pantry all the time. Hubs and I live off Social Security and food stamps only go so far. I was glad to see how you use some of your items you get from the pantry. I never know what to do with some of the stuff. I have limited space and we are only allowed once a month anyway! Looking forward to seeing more fun on your channel! Best to you and yours.

Sorry I missed the live. Did a food bank haul today. This pantry has started bringing you a paper to your vehicle in line. So you can pick what you want/need instead of waisting foods that people may not need/want. They did beg me to take a 10+ lb turkey, so I may have a friend smoke it for me this weekend and then I'll can it after we eat some of it and make bone broth.😋❤️ Can't believe you dropped us😂😆
