I’m with Daniel and A Christmas Story! My favorite movie is the original Miracle on 34th Street. Totally agree with you regarding the Instapot-mine just sits on the shelf-used it a few times but not what I turn to.

100% agree that A Christmas Story was super stupid!
The new one isn't as bad as the first.
And Doe Hard is 100% a Christmas Movie. Even the movie makers that made it stated it's a Christmas Movie. It did happen on Christmas Eve.
    You two are great!!!

The Christmas Story is one of my favorites. One of my memories with my mom is she would be watching the Christmas story movie and I would come and check up on her she would be watching the movie. I would go watch with her. I miss my mom 10 years ago she died.

Lol I love all the debate about A Christmas Story 😂 Not gonna lie I have never been a fan of that movie, but I know alot of folks who loooove it lol My favorite is either Rudolph or It’s A Wonderful Life! I love the Christmas movies that came out from the 40’s-70’s. 😀

No to A Christmas Story. Yes to National Lampoons Christmas Vacation, Home Alone 1 and 2, Christmas With the Kranks, and Four Christmases. My husband's fave is Die Hard. NOT a Christmas movie in my book!

I didn't grow up watching A Christmas Story, but my husband did. We've been married almost 11 years and I'm finally ok with watching it and not being super bored. But I mean, it's still not my favorite and I don't care if we don't watch it haha

Your childhood Christmas stories are so funny. Takes me back. My husband does the “trick” thing with our kids now. He does it almost every year so you’d think they would be catching on by now lol. So fun! Love your videos and all the helpful tips. I hope you and your family have a very blessed Christmas!

I don't use my instant pot much either. I much prefer a crockpot.

I've never watched A Christmas Story. It doesn't look very good, to me.

Die Hard is definitely a Christmas movie. It takes place literally at a Christmas party.

We celebrate Messiah in Hanukah. I have to find those random little gifts for eight whole nights! I go a little at a time. He is the servant lamp that lights all the other little lamps He is the light of the world. Love your videos

My niece loves her instant pot. Mine has sat in the cupboard for six years. Ya, I hear you. I’m eating more beans these days since meat is so expensive so I might break out my instant pot to cook beans. I love stockings. After my Mum died, I no longer got a stocking and I miss that. It shows in my gift giving – they tend to be little gifts that add up to a lot: a stocking 😂.

Christmas story, Christmas Vacation, Home Alone, White Christmas, Bridget Jones’ Diary, Love Actually: Yes.

    Die Hard: No.

I think the instant pot is really good for the mom who works outside of the home like me. I love using a crockpot but for me I leave for work way too early to start a crockpot and by the time I get home it's too late to start one. Instant pot to the rescue!

    OMGoodness!! I"m laughing like crazy!
I had deliberated whether or not to get either an Air Fryer or an InstantPot.
I thought about how often I'd use either one and then started looking up recipes.
Yep, I totally scratched the InstantPot OFF my list as the number of steps and how involved most of the recipes I found were….Yeah, that's a solid NO!

TBH: I'm not a huge Christmas movie person, but…if I had to choose, I personally enjoy: "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation." My dad loved "A Christmas Story" because, as he said, it reminded him of his Christmas' growing up. Maybe it's a generational thing. shrugs
My mom's favorite was always: "It's a wonderful life" While my son's favorite is: "Elf." My brother was always the oddball because he prefers Thanksgiving movies: "Planes, Trains and Automobiles" and "Home for the Holidays" are his favorites.

I don't know about men saying "Die Hard" is the BEST Christmas movie but they all agree it IS a Christmas movie.
What no one seems to realize is that "The Exorcist" is ALSO a Christmas movie by those standards.
