    I;D GIVE IT ANOTHER WEE SPLASH OF MILK,1/2 N 1/2,..CREAM,..OR MILK…ALSO ADD A TABLESPOON OF HORSERADISH,…STIRRED IN,,,,,.I LIKE THEM A BIT MORE MOIST AND SMOOTHER THAN ILLUSTRATED…

    This works in all electric pressure cookers not just the instant pot. I have a consori that has all the features that the ip has. Honestly, it is a bit faster than the ip. Anyway, the garlic mashed worked. I used milk though. I am not vegan. I had to play with putting the right amount of garlic in it.

    When I mash my potatoes, I like to take the metal-pot liner out of the Instant Pot, (carefully of course because it's hot; use pot holders!!) I've used a towel to line my clean dry sink, then place the metal-pot liner into my sink. Now it's the right height for me to easily mash those potatoes because I am short!
