Hi Chetna that looks delicious, I love daal too but I am not a huge fan of broccoli myself, my mum did cook daal like that once but with cauliflower, carrots, peas and potatoes in it, it was so delicious 😋 I love cauliflower, I will definitely try this 😋 thank you so much for sharing another amazing recipe 😁❤️🥰😋

That looks good, I’ll try that next week. Coincidentally I cooked Toor dal for the first time a couple of days ago (your garlic toor dal recipe from “Healthy Indian Vegetarian”) and loved it. I’ve got 2kg of lentils left to cook so perfect timing with this recipe!

Hello Chetna! love and have made so so many of you delicious, lovely recipes from your channel and cook books. I was wondering what size/capacity your pressure cooker is? Love all your recipes so much, thank you for sharing your love of cooking with us xxx

So, Chetna, I decided to make this tonight even though I had no Broccoli! So I used mixed veg (frozen). Then realised I had no Cumin seeds, only powder. Then realised we can’t get hold of Mango powder so had to use Lemon juice. Made some rice to go with it. Absolutely beautiful, even though I say it myself. The wife loved it too. Many thanks for sharing and its one I shall keep making. Many thanks and stay well.

It's such a beautiful looking dal! I actually love broccoli in dal so I will use your technique which is different from what I usually do. Thanks so much!
