Love your video presentation! Informative and to the point (no babbling lol). This is very similar to how I make my roast in my IP but I have always been afraid to cook one from a frozen state. Thanks for showing me how 🙂 Now my family doesn't have to eat out because I forgot to thaw the meat lol.
Why wouldn’t you want the veggies to cook in the broth? It makes them absolutely delicious!
Perfect!
That's Pot Roast, Not Roast Beef!
No salt pepper garlic nothing when it was put it.
Thanks for showing how to start from frozen. This was a huge help!
Trying this now👌

90 minutes seems like a long time, of course it was frozen, but was it super thick??
That's exactly what I was looking for! Thank you for the recipe!
I made this today using a mostly frozen tri-tip. I'm new to the Instant Pot and after finding my meat was still frozen on day 2 of thawing I panicked. I happened upon this video in my frantic Google search. I did exactly as directed, only I lightly seasoned my tri- tip, and added celery. It was delicious! Thanks for the video!
For the gravy, did you set it on saute again? Anyone?
Thanks for the info .We are enjoying A wonderful pot roast dinner thanks to you, keep up the great work.
,
I added a cup of red wine and used beef broth. Mmm
Mmm..can i come for lunch..🔱
My first experience with my new Instant Pot. Worked well. Thank you!
Why dont you just take some of the gravy &mix with cornstarch instead of adding water
Cute how your cat knew when to come in and try to get some yummy food
How much chicken stock
Love, Love, LOVE IT!>>>ur2.pl/1035 That is all that needs to be said! The answer is YES, if your question is…should I buy this!?!?!
Your so sing songy….
Never occurred to me to make the gravy with the saute function. Thx!
Looks great! Question: why did you dump in the veggies? Could you not use the pot-in-pot method?
Looks great!
Enjoyable video. Thanks. But how did you determine that you should cook the frozen roast for 90 minutes. Where does that 90 minutes come from? And if my roast is smaller than yours, do I still do it 90 minutes, or do I cut down on the time, and if so, how do I determine what that time should be. I'm relatively new to the instant pot, but using it more and more all the time.
thanks for the video
Im making this right now thanks i didnt know o could pop frozen meat in here
Trying this today, thank you.
I made it! I used beef broth instead of chicken and instead of onion soup mix, I had a packet of slow cooker pot roast seasoning (McCormack, I think?). Other than that I did exactly as the video says. It was delicious! I have made many a roast in crock pots and roasting pans, but his was the best and juiciest ever. My family scarfed it up. Will definitely make it again!
Um, should I add a package of onion soup mix or something?? LOL I don't have an instant pot but I have a good relatively modern pressure cooker so I can do this I think. good un!
That to me is more of a pot roast, not a roast beef. Still looks delicious, just not roast beef.
Thank you! Tried frozen 3 lb boneless blade pot roast, using 2 cans mushroom soup, 2 cans water and 1 pkg dry onion soup mix. Made sure liquid was about 1 inch from top of roast. Manual 90 minutes just as you said and it turned out wonderfully.
Very tasty, very tender. Thank you so much for sharing this video.
Gonna try this tomorrow night!!! I'll post how it went. Thanks for an easy to follow video.
Can't even imagine the amount of sodium in that meal!
Great video but I sometimes couldn't hear what you were saying. Would it be possible to add amounts & times to your description? That would also make an easy reference, after watching the video. Thanks a bunch for the instructions. Looked delicious!
Thanks for sharing
Tip for the gravy leave the potatoes in and it will thinkin up that way because of the natural starch in them
Thank YOU! for showing how to cook frozen meat. Important to know this. Liked your presentation! I didn't know until now that I could do this with my Instant Pot.
What size of instant pot do you have?
If you thaw the meat, you can roast it for real in the oven for 2 hours and not have boiled meat.
Looks yummy.
Made me really hungry!
Oh yummy, if your husband does not love you I do.
I got one as well , but don't read to much thus the question , how long usually to do like spuds, cabbage , turnip , carrots and onions alone? Thanking you in advance for a reply. Thanks for sharing .
i can hear the kitties
Why did you put the trivet between the meat & veggies? Just easier to get them out of the pot?
