I don't doubt that it taste good but i bet you cant even taste the beans themselves with all the strong flavors you added. Next time try cooking with just the bacon and maybe the onion, everything else just helps to ruin the dish because ypu cant taste your beans which is the best part.

Good job! just like my recipe, except, I add cumin and red chili power and no chorizo. But, the chorizo can only make them better. Right on with the lard. That is the secret to great refried beans as well. Bacon, lard, red chili power, garlic, cumin, salt and pepper. Add the lard to the bacon to fry, then add the blended beans the the hot oil to fry the beans. Once again, good job.

Omg! This was delicious. Made it with my Tex Mex Fajitas night. I used 2 large cans of Goya pinto beans because of time constraint and skipped the lard because so much bacon grease. Will make it again and again. Thank you for a great share.

Hey James. Watched your video and you did a great job. However, I was a bit skeptical at first cus you did look like anyone from Texas . I'm from Corpus and retired military, but I have to admit they look great. I will make some and try them out. I live close enough to the border that could ride my Harley and go pick up a little senorita and have her make some for me. Do you know if your beans can be canned? Thanks for sharing. Much appreciated.
