You are blessed to have chickens for sure. I had a Cow when I saw our 2 pack of 18 eggs at our Walmart shot up to like $8 or so dollars! When I last looked, it was around $3 I think? Insane.

What size is your Instant Pot? I have an 8 qt. Many recipes are for a 6 qt and I have no idea how to convert cooking times for the size difference. The internet has virtually nothing about this online. Any ideas?

Prices go up, prices go down. We’ve been in a period of relatively good prices, but now they are increasing. I figure that if I have the money and the space, it doesn’t hurt to buy today for tomorrow. Maybe I’ll get something that jumps in price next month and I’ll be glad I got it now. Or the opposite. I try to ignore the politics in the US and look at other countries. Are they seeing the same thing? Are they coming out of their recessions? Since the US is dependent on other countries and they on us, I feel it’s smart to look outside ourselves at the rest of the world.
While you were peeling the paper off that roll of crescent rolls and I started getting nervous. I was relieved until that roll exploded in your hand. I have to go change my pants now. 😂

Good to see the kids! We got a rice cooker! It's about the same as the instant pot taste wise! Just not as bulky also I think faster! Havent gotten the seasoning for the rice yet, I forgot we got yellow rice! It was such a fast meal tho we are doing it again tonight! ❤ love yall
60 ct of eggs I usually buy from Walmart is $15!!!!! They were like $4 I think. I so wish we could move now on some land and have chickens! And other grocery prices are outrageous and there’s many places Walmart has a meat recall. Glad we buy local and grass fed when we can & hubby hunts. But I would love to get a hog soon local too. I went last night real quick bc Walmart cancelled my pickup order 😡 and I bought like 10 items for $80! 😳 I’m like u, do I buy now or wait…I have to make that decision too lol. God bless y’all! My husband was admitted to the hospital last Tuesday! He is in ICU. So I got to get him better firsthand!! Then God will help me with the rest!
