Looks good. This is one of my favorite dishes; I like the version where you grate a lot of the cheese on top and then put the whole bowl into the oven to create a thick crust of ooey, gooey cheese on top.

Was watching Old video of Julia Child Cutting onions she said you knife must be razor sharp so cells of onion are not crushed and squeezed no tears I did this doing a fine dice 3 onion knife was dulling by number 3 and i started to get a few tears so i steeled it sharpen knife finished no problem

Thank you for your recipe. Always liked the French onion soup, used to buy it frozen, but it become way to expensive. Tried other recipes, but non came near as good as yours. Not only the recipe is great, but your presentation is quite a show! Keep it up, is a lot of fun watching you. I notice a bit of an accent, and the name Natasha makes me think you are some kind of Slovak. Mind telling ?
