I’m intrigued… Now I want to see what salsa powder is and how you made it.
Your recipe looks yummy for this casserole 🙂🦋
Praying in advance for you and your family during your surgery and recovery.

There are things I have never eaten that I will now try, thanks to you (like funeral potatoes and King Ranch casserole) because you make them look delicious! I, like you, also use Cheez Whiz for some things, like my mother did. Au gratin potatoes are the best that way! I make chipotles in adobo powder, but now I will definitely make salsa powder, too. And powdered tomatoes can thicken a lot of things that get too juicy. I’m curious about using a Lo mein sauce in with beef I want to can. What do you think? Thanks, Jeni. I see some wonderful freezer meals in my immediate future because I sure like what I saw here. Just marvelous!☺️

For a switch up at times I have used Pepper jack cheese, crumbled bacon, and crumbled Chez it crackers or sour cream and onion potatoes chips crunched on the funeral potatoes.
On the tater tot casserole I like the idea of doing the meat raw. One time making it I discovered french fried onions that i had and figured i would use it up and put it on top, turned out tasty.
Love meat loaf and making a meatloaf sandwich with the left overs.
Chicken thighs and the Korean beef looks great
That lasagna is going on my list for next week dinner. Thanks for the yummy dishes

Aaaannnnddd…now I'm craving funeral potatoes! Lol I can't wait to add some of these recipes to my freezer meals collection. I love that you cook with lots of spices and your liberal use of chilies. I would cry if I couldn't use them (and I have cried when I lost my tastebuds for almost a year after my cancer treatments. thankfully they came back, mostly). Sending you positive energy 💌

I also love cheese wiz, just something about it. The king ranch dish looks tasty, you just used regular lasagna noodles, hope you have enough liquid, it takes a lot to hydrate those, 1.1 times their weight in water, the no boil ones take a lot less, I bet the flour tortillas would work good in that. One thing for sure you are going to be eating good while recuperating. Must be getting close, I will be holding good thoughts for you.
