Try to saute first the pork together with garlic and onions, before adding water to boil,it will enhance the flavor of the lean and fat.its a bit unhealthy to some, but much flavorful compared to boiled sinigang.☺️

I wonder why every time I hear Filipinos talk about how they eat, cook or do things, they always say "this/that is how Filipinos do it"? it's definitely not true. Filipino cultures, traditions, characters and ways on doings things are not all the same. sometimes it depends on individuality. that's why I don't talk about Filipinos in general especially when it comes to doing things. always remember, Philippines has more than 7,000 islands, more than 100 dialects or local languages with different cultures and traditions, definitely with different tastes or pallets just like foreigners when it comes to food.

it's just normal for plants, vegetables or fruits to have insects or worms. it has nothing to do with transporting the vegetables or fruits for having infested by worms. even before the harvest, vegetables could have worms inside, so it's advisable to keenly do an ocular check for holes in choosing or before buying especially for eggplants, sitaw or string beans and the others.

The soup has msg so you don’t really eat the sinigang by itself , eat it with rice not unless if if you make the sinigang not with the soup base mix . You make it clean by using real fresh tamarind .The powder has msg that’s why .The powder is the flavour enhancer of course .
