Cool I'm going to add this to my meal prep plans for work ๐Ÿ™‚ I work 10-14 hours 3-4 days a week this will make good dinners and maybe lunch too for that time. Thanks for the idea

Thanks for the video….One suggestion: cut up the pepper and onion ahead of time and just tell the viewers that you sliced one green pepper and roughly cut one onion. .

Thought I should come back on and tell you that I have two packs of Turkey Italian Sausage out defrosting for the crockpot tomorrow, I've got red and orange peppers to slice up with onions, I'll probably even use spaghetti sauce and serve them either on a sub roll or pasta, their choice. Thanks or the idea … I can't wait for dinner later today, I'll probably serve it with some oven roasted broccoli which we all love here as well. Thanks Tammy.

TFS. I will be serving it over rice on "Tammy's Sausage Sunday." Hope you like what I call it. I will add a raspberry spinach salad with a poppyseed raspberry vinaigrette.
Fyi to thicken my sauces I always add a cup of potato flakes to the crockpot.
On Sundays I make Subs or soup in cooler weather, or Sausage Shrimp Jambalaya, or Salmon or spaghetti. I started this when my daughter was little because I rotate menus over 45 days and dedicated a dish with the same alphabet to the day. On Mondays we do " must gos" and if there are any leftovers we have " Scrumptious Scraps Saturdays " as well. That forces us to not waste food and we eat it or freeze leftovers about once every 3 days.

We've always been a hot italian sausage family, but lately it's a little too warm for me so I've been buying the sweet and love them as well, though sometimes I add one pack of hot and one of mild. We've also gone over mostly to turkey sausage for the health benefits. I was taught to cook them in the oven with, peppers, onions and olive oil, no tomato sauce, but I love them either way. Yours look great, wish I was having that tonight, but I think we're doing burgers on the grill tonight and a bacon wrapped pork roast tomorrow night. Yum ..
