All caught up now! And i think the last i commented we was breaking eat at home for a Japanese steak house. That was such a cool experience! Definitely a way to only do eat out is only if youve never experienced it!!! We have been on the eat at home train since the 21st tho. Been under the weather, hopefully coming out of it now. Here's hoping cuz ugh lol love yall ❤❤

I’m trying to do something similar although we don’t have as many mouths to feed and I don’t do any canning. But I’m trying to work through things in our freezer, and would like to thaw our chest freezer to clean it. But I’m also buying things especially if I find sales. I’ll probably work to use up the bigger cuts of meat since they take up more space and then fill my refrigerator freezer with the rest as much as I can so that I can thaw out our chest freezer at some point. But I like having “extras” on hand so I won’t be using it all up, just rotating through. I try to keep enough meat on hand that I don’t have to buy it unless I find a sale or we can take a trip to Sam’s. Balance and wisdom. ☺️

    Good Morning Tiffany and family🥰
If my husband and I had teeth I’d definitely be following your example of canning and getting a stock built up!
Er have 16 indoor only rescue kitties and I have been able to get a bit of extra food & products for them!

God Bless you and your family Always 🙏🏻🕊✝️🌸♥️

This is exactly what my husband and I do. We finally decided it was NOT worth it to the do a pantry challenge. The way the world is, better to be stocked up 24/7. Just make sure the food is on rotation and hey if things get close to going bad, feed it to the animals! No waste!

I don’t know what to do about food. I am selling my house. So I can’t buy like I would like to. Moving out of state. Some of the movers will not take your food. Pray that my house sells soon, thank you

Yes we feel the same way about groceries. I can't in good conscience do pantry challenges even tho I have a month of food to use. I'd rather have the food security in these modern times. It's smart. Trends aren't necessarily best for every family even when it saves money

I feel the same way. I want to clear out my freezers to defrost but I don’t want to screw myself. Not fear, just uncertainty. Helpful tip on vacuum sealing meat….put it in the bag, freeze it, then vacuum seal it. You don’t have any meat juices to deal with and you get a better seal.
