I also food prep here n there even water. Last week as I was out doing vanlife my daughter messaged me and said ‘ mom it’s a good thing you Horde water’. I said why and she said there had been a big water leak and it was shut off in the whole town. I didn’t want to say ‘I told ya so’ but I did. 😅😊. Now she gets it 💭👍🏻

There are also 3 gallon buckets available. You need an Amazon store and I need one of those 18" bedframes! 😊 I feel better not eating meat. I stock up on non-food items, on sale with coupons/rainchecks, once a year. Then I need only to deal with food. It works for me. I've been slow to use my winter stockpile which has allowed me to feel a little more secure with a few extra items.

I'll watch this completely after work but it's a great idea. I didn't know about this. Plus good idea to use them as temporary furniture. Can you fill one with twinkies? Just kidding. Would be nice to also have a small garden with onions, tomatoes and what you normally add to lentils or other foods. But I guess we can also save onion powder. Plus it's not too expensive.

Love, love seeing the white buckets! I have colored ones too. Red is for spices and seasonings, pink is for personal hygiene and so on. I haven’t seen colored buckets at Walmart in a while. Happy Prepping!!

Thank you for sharing your ideas. Our king size bed is too low to put any of my preps there and I didn’t know about the 18" bed frame which I’ll be buying now. Have lots of preps with are mostly geared for my mexican cooking but we, husband, sister and I, are all on currently on keto for health reasons but if SHTF takes place then Keto will be thrown out the window, lol! I dehydrate, freeze dry and can for much of my preps. Good luck to you as food prices have gone up but there are good sales still available. Catherine from Henderson, NV.
