You have to have a business license and freeze dry in a commercial kitchen, plus have insurance in case someone gets sick. You want an LLC .
I'd buy freeze dried candy, espeicially the taffy. We are a twist and fold over the remaining loaf in this house.

I am a twist and tuck if it has that little plastic thang on it…if it has an actual twist tie…then I use the twist tie….
You also can freeze dry cuties, but it's a pain to peel them and break them apart. Kids think they are candy, so it could be worth the effort for healthy candy.
Amazon has freeze dried jolly ranchers.

You need do ice cream – as it can be expensive etc. Try selling it locally etc.
Word of advice if you resale the commercial candy don't call it by the original name like skittles I know a family that resales freeze dried candy like that they made a good bussiness out of it. But did get sued by Hershey on trademark infringement. They had to rename the candy to something else. So suggest you do the same if you do sell.
