Just wanted to say to your husband that it is nice and a pleasure meeting him Thank You for introducing him. He looks like a cool and very supporting Husband for you. When I was pregnant with my oldest Son I volunteered my time and was helping others with food I also enjoyed helping other people in need and also met lots of nice people as well.

Chicken livers are much better than beef. I hate beef liver! I fry bacon first and eat a piece of bacon with every bite of chicken liver. Praying for your mom.🙏🏻🌷

Thinly slice the liver and put some flour, salt and pepper into a bag and toss. Then fry with some beef and make a gravy and put in the oven like a casserole for about an hour or two. Give's you enough Iron.

My Mom made a stuffed cows heart once. I couldn’t take it. Looked like well, a giant heart! I think I had a hot dog which probably had beef heart in it.
I do like beef tongue though. 😋

Hey there. My mama and I went through a similar situation recently and yeah it turns your life upside down for a short time. My mother became unable to take care of herself and we found out she could stay /live with me verses a nursing home ( I found out that DSHS will pay me to take care of her.)
Its been a huge blessing. (Don't get me wrong I would have continued taking care of her without being paid ) If you have any questions let me know.
I just wanted you to know. Unfortunately money is needed to survive. 🙂
Circle of Life is so true. Blessings and hugs sent to you & your family.

So sorry about your mom. That's rough. Prayers for full recovery. Ketchup and hot sauce on liver, with gravy mashed potatoes , sauteed onions. We do the onions with the liver. But I guess it can be an acquired taste.

Love your show Mama Baird. Hope your Mom recovers real soon. Be strong. I live in Manitoba Canada. You show that anyone can cook everyday meals. My husband actually asks for liver and onions. I make mine by soaking in milk, dust in seasoned flour, quick brown and make a brown gravy. I then slice onions and put everything together in the oven @ 350F for about 45 to 60 minutes. It turns out so moist and tender. It was also a big hit when I worked as a chef ( I'm now retired). Keep the videos coming. When you tasted the liver, it was so funny. It is an acquired taste. But, the onions and gravy the way I make it, it is much tastier. My oldest son used to put ketchup on it.
