hi! fajitas looked so good. i'd love to know what you do with the chuck blade cut. it's not a very tender cut. how would you prepare it as a roast so it stays moist and gets tender? sticker shock on the meat prices for sure! bless that food pantry!

I think they call those seeds Pepito seeds which is a pumpkin seed. Carolina you and I are so similar I use one steak to feed my family of five and sometimes I will cook 1 chicken breast if the steak doesn't seem like enough and between you and I I repurpose my oil I will cook fries in the oil and then I will use it for onion rings I will use it for frying corn tortillas then I will use it for hashbrowns and I will use it all up over a week no waste. Hope you have a wonderful week Carolina.

If you plant vegetables like yams, sweet potatoes, beets the foliage is eatable. I think carrots greens too. But do your research. I think some folk
plant a few just for the foliage.

The orange, green, regular pasta makes a yummy pasta salad,i have no measurements but boil the pasta and cool, put in a big bowl, add in a can of drained diced tomatoes, diced cucumbers, mozzarella cheese and whatever else you might like then put in the amount of italian dressing you want and stir,it's so very good.

Save the pretzel container. The ones that have the screw on lids are nice to store dried food in. I know some people don't want to store in plastic but sometimes you get blessed with a wind fall of something you need a container. Right now, I have extra flour and sugar stored in that type of container. My food grade containers are all full, but I wanted to add extra to my pantry for just in case things get bad.

I'd never even heard of Wagyu beef until Arby's started advertising their Wagyu beef burger, which I just read a review about. He said the burger had maybe half Wagyu beef. He didn't seem overly impressed by their burger. I think they want $5.99 for it, and I live within walking distance of an Arby's. Lol. I'd really have to crave a hamburger bad to pay that, and I rarely even buy hamburger to fry as a patty or even to use for other cooking I do (i use some sausage in my spaghetti, lasagna, chili, pizza, etc., and a little goes a long way regarding flavor). But I'd sure grab a chuck roast or round steak marked down any day of the week. I don't do fast food much at all anymore since I like my own cooking. Those fajitas are a great idea, and yours look so good!!!
