You did a great job here “chef Tapioca”
I see more videos of old time desserts …I hope.
This brings back the smells of Grandmas kitchen when I was a kid. Tapioca pudding and homemade breads were the best smells of her house.

It took over a year but I finally found instant tapioca at Walmart. Meanwhile, I learned to cook the soak/longer cooking type I found at an Amish store in Indiana. Laura Vitale has a video on how to cook that type. It'is superb stuff.

How long do you have to mix the egg whites and sugar? I spent a couple of minutes on it, but mine did not reach what yours looked like. No peaks on mine, just like white paint. Does this take several minutes?

I grew up eating the most fabulous tapioca that both my grandmother and great grandmother used to make But our added twist – at the end before refrigerating, add crushed, drained pineapple. Oh so yummy. .

I love tapioca, my aunt used to make it every day and invited her brother to lunch. My sister had a bulk grocery store years ago, she sold a lot of both kinds of tapioca, instant and pearl. The pearl is used in bubble tea, might be why it's hard to find. We always liked the instant. Great job Cody!
