Thanks for sharing I just love crock pot cooking
Hi lovely love watching you you make me smile. Thank you ❤️
That looks yummy. I really like using my crockpot often in the winter. Thanks for the pictures. I really like the vintage photos.😊
Hiya Tessie. I admire your details on your family. Today I'm making creamed beef. I've been planning on it, when I watched your video it really made me want it. Growing up we traveled thru Lancaster & Long Island. Deli is the way to grab lunchmeat. Lebanon Bologna is sure an acquired taste. It is very similar to corned beef. It's about 10 degrees here at this moment in Ohio. We got 12 inches here. Still shoveling to get others cars out. Cardboard, kitty litter & salt helped the neighbors van outta the street. Be well Tessie gal. Loving you.
Love ur ideas! I'm a new sub. I, too, collect cookbooks at garage sales etc. Its a compulsion!!my daughter will eventually get all of my cookbooks! Keep'em coming you rock!!
Thank you for sharing your family photos and history..I really enjoyed it.
Going to try those freezer bags Tessie I switched back to some of the name brand ones because I was having trouble with store brands but I will give the Dollar general kind a try thanks
Food looks delicious. Love crockpot meals. TFS
Hello Tessie, Just catching up on some of your videos this week. I Always enjoy watching your videos and positive talks. Stay warm these days!
Thank you friend!! I have lived in South Texas for decades and we have never had a blackout like this. I was so nervous to have oil lanterns but after watching you casually light all three on your kitchen table daily I worked up the nerve to go buy a bunch . I am super grateful because our home is well lit while millions of other Texans are in the dark tonight. We knew the storm was coming for over a week but most people in my neighborhood refuse to prep. And even though it is well below zero there are over four hundred people wrapped around the building of our grocery store trying to get in to buy necessities. No water or electricity. Thank you for the wisdom and common sense that you share with your audience. I never knew when I was going to need it but it sure came in handy this week❤
A nice meal. I cook similar meals however, I cook mine in a pressure cooker, it's much quicker. Lovely to see your pictures : )
❤️❤️
Thank you for adding the recipe to your description box! Greatly appreciated! Sending love and prayers!
The Campbell Soup Cookbooks are great, too! I use mine all the time for fast, easy, great tasting meals! 🙂
Yes Tessie glad you are adding the recipes I learned to cook from your videos!
LOVE Fix it and Forget it!! I think everyone I know has it in Lancaster County! I never made this one! I'm going to try it!
I'm late and I missed seeing your video last night. We didn't have power here in Texas, so I didn't get my Tessie fix! I'm catching up before the power goes out again! Stay warm and safe! God bless, dearheart!
What a delicious meal to warm a person up on a cold day! I love using my crockpot all year long! I usually put in something in the crockpot in the morning and then it's ready for supper. Helps me so much cause with a farm to run and of course gardening season I'm always so busy! By tge way I cook my chicken the same way, that's how my mom and grandma cooked it!
Love seeing all your family photos! Preserving our heritage and passing it down to younger generations is so important.
Have a great week!
Yay! TY!
Yum yum I love these kinds of recipes for the slow cooker. I love my slow cooker, I haven't got a microwave anymore but I would never be without a slow cooker. Tessie I love the photos you showed !!! and the history of the different Mennonite backgrounds of your family was absolutely fascinating thanks so much for sharing this with us, bless you Tessie Xx 💖
Loved all the photos!! I thought I heard you mention River Brethern in your comments. My father's family were River Brethern, they lived in New Paris Indiana on a farm. Both of my grandparents died before I was born in 1937 so I never met them.
Hey Tessie.. your sound is so………….loud… even if we turn it down.. you are very loud..
I love the photos at the end!
I have that very same cook book. Bought it at a thrift store for a dollar. It has great(not to complicated) recipes.
Nice recipe for cold days Tessie, really enjoyed your family history and pictures. Thank you for sharing. God bless🙏😇❤️
It looks really good, but isn´t it easier to cook it on the stove, and much quicker? 20 -30 min on the stove? It seems very long time: 4 hours! ( A lot of electricity too?) So beautiful photos on your family <3
🐓
Lol!!!! Was just sitting here watching this after making a chicken casserole in my Slow Cooker
Stay warm Tessie, God Bless you.
thanks for adding the recipe, looked yummy
❤ Theresa, love your channel ! You seem to have a very humble and kind heart….God bless you and your family……thank you for sharing your life with all of us….❤
Tessie–I'm sure you can prepare a FANTASTIC meal without a cookbook! Blessings from FRIGID MINNESOTA! MY CHICKENS AND GINEAS ARE SNUGGLING! —AND ME! 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 Warmth & Peace & Joy from Dawn @ Rich & Dawn in MN 🙂
I love the pictures and explanations about Mennonites at the ending. My dad always said he preached the same gospel no matter which church he was in–and we were in two different kinds of Mennonite for years, along with a Quaker, New Dunkard, and several other assorted interim ones. It was a good teaching for me to keep my focus on the Word of God and to realize that people had different interpretations on more minor things.
Hi 🙂 should we watch your playlist? I got confused about that on a FB post
Oh my that meal looks delicious Tessie! Have a blessed day 🌻
