And that my friend is but one of the reasons Meatloaf is a legendary performer known for his live shows.
Wow. They are REALLY rushing through this. They kicked the tempo up considerably for this performance.
EDIT: Ok, I made it as far as the first "Glowing like the metal on the edge of a knife" and I just couldn't take it anymore.
Britt, I know its not your fault. You had no way of knowing. But this is NOT a good representation of this song. Even Meat Loaf himself is apparently having an off night here. A VERY off night. But….
PLEASE watch THIS. It should not get copyrighted, I've seen it on multiple other channels. And it's a MUCH MUCH MUCH better performance. (I'm not asking for a reaction..you've already heard the song…just saying…if I'd heard the version you just heard, FIRST, I probably would have hated Meat Loaf).
Should listen to the actual vid not live version
Not the best version
Good reaction, and definitely an 'extra' performance, but musically the official video is much better imho
This is a Rock opera. You should watch the official video. It’s a better performance. Your reactions are so cute and funny. You are cute too!
Britt, if you're looking for a music video from Meatloaf to check out, look for "Objects in the Rear View Mirror May Appear Closer Than They Are" it is like mini-movie.
Thank you for reacting too Meatloaf you vibe listening too the video so awesome.👍
This female singer died shortly after this album came out – Cher was his singer on Dead Ringer and in the video and after that he used his daughters as backup singers in concert. Saw him in concert 6 times, too bad he died in COVID!
Baseball announcing legend and hall of famer Phil Rizzuto did the announcing part!
Meatloaf is the lead singer
Meatloaf is the one guy, grandma nick named Marvin Aday that for being a large baby!
Meat Loaf was always very entertaining with his songs and performances. He left us far to early. May he rest in peace.
Meatloaf = Rock Opera his concerts were like that throughout.
I'm looking this one regardless, just because of the subject matter
I Have NEVER CAVED!🤔🤷♀
This is a crappy version of that song. Bad show? I don't know, but that is not a good experience for Meatloaf and this song. There are way better ones out there, but for some reason, I have seen this one used twice in the last couple minutes. Bad choice on this video, but great song. Maybe look into another verson of it. I think youwill be surprised.
Wow, Mr. Loaf really had an off night, I've never heard him sound this bad! Meatloaf sounds way better in the music video and studio version of this song. …Nice reaction though.
Rocky horror picture show
I prefer the original one..
When I heard this song it was on the radio. The baseball game seemed like an analogy of what was happening and also just a game playing on the radio while they were doing their thing😂
The official video has a much better mix.
There's a much better version of this. This one just kind of sounds off.
I was so looking forward to your reaction, but when it started and I saw that you were not reacting to the official video I was so disappointed that I just quit watching and went somewhere else. The official video is the ONLY way to react to this song – it's a theatrical performance, whereas this live version is dead by comparison. You BLEW IT by choosing a live performance.
This song was so overt and I used to hear it at the skating rink when I was little having no clue what was going on in the song until I was an adult.
Your reaction to the great Meatloaf – priceless!
Yeah, this was probably good to see live, but there's much better versions to react too. Not that the reactor knows this.
Choosing the right version is critical for this song.
This man was a GIANT in the theatrical rock world! What a great entertainer.
