Yum! I bought some frozen Ube similar to what you showed here. I was pleasantly surprised to find the frozen Ube so I bought it without knowing what I was going to make with it. This looks amazing and delicious, so you know it just HAS to be my first dish I make. Thank you for the demo. 😁👍

Thanks for this recipe! I just made my first ube jalaya and it turned out great! Although I used regular milk instead of evaporated milk. I just found out the evap milk was expired when I was about to open the can lol

Thank you you and your lola so much for this recipe! I made it for the first time and I couldn’t stop eating it straight from the pot! I did use a blender towards the end because I wanted all the yam chunks to smooth out and it was the perfect consistency! Great addition for fillings for pandesals! Thanks again!

thank you so much for this recipe. it was delicious. As good as my fave ube halaya that my aunt makes when I was still in the philippines. it was so worth the 1 hr and 15 mins nonstop stirring. LOL

Thank you for this easy to follow tutorial! Im making this in my Ninja Foodi right now; pressure cooked my Ube to ensure it’s tender; after I drained it, I returned it To the pot, mashed it with my (plastic) masher, added the liquids and then carefully used my immersion blender stick to ensure it’s smooth. Now I’m at the stirring phase on Med-low. I’ve never made this before but am so glad i found your tutorial. Your daughter is just precious. Would you happen to have a buchi/sesame ball w/ube halaya as a filling vs. the red bean paste?
