Hey Y’all! I hope you’re doing great! I am excited to share this EXTREME grocery budget video with you! I sourced all the …
Almost 30 years ago, I fed 5 people 3 meals a day plus snacks for 50$ a week.(Walmart) It was tough back then. It's almost impossible today. Congratulations ❣️
You are the best!
An actual useful food budget channel. Even if you’re eating for only 1.
Love the ideas, thanks!
I admire what you’re doing and why you have to and I like you promoting the food banks as sad as it is that people need them but if I fed my husband and son (son is 6foot6 so needs a lot of food) the cheese, egg and ham omelette with the apple slices for dinner there would be mutiny in my house. They laugh at the pizza ads where one pizza feeds 4 people. Envious of your gas stove, cooked on gas all my life then moved to Canada and got electric stoves and I hate it, I bought camper gas burners!
Your channel just popped up on my YouTube. Great job on the shopping especially the ham! I thought your dishes were very imaginative . Keep up the good work. Also you have a very calming presentation.
One thing that helps our budget is the 10 pound chicken pieces from Walmart. They go a long way and they have been on sale for $6.70ish. I cook it all at once and divide it out for the meals I'm cooking. You could probably find a good huge bowl at an estate sale for a buck!
I can see you really put a lot of time and effort in this video. It shows and is appreciated. Thank you. 😀
Edited to say 💜 honey break! So stinking cute😍
Thank you so much for making this video. The recipes are awesome.😊
Everything you prepared looked delicious!!!!!!
Potato flakes are super cheap and can be added to thicken soup, too! Thank you for your video ❤
You are absolutely correct about using whole food!!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Get a whole chicken at Sam's and it's already cooked
Love what you mentioned about the food bank! I have been on both sides of the fence and hate to know so many have food insecurity all over the world. I now can help out and that feels so good. It is important to help where we can. Your meals look very yummy. Love these videos!
i am so thankful to see healthy budget shopping and meals. Hope to see more. God bless you and your family.
Great use of your grocery budget. I only dream of an Aldi coming to Vicksburg, MS, though I know it will never happen. 🥲
Omg u r a great cook. My first time here. Great job.
Lovely meals. We had a ham and used some for fried rice, we loved it with egg drop soup for a meal we call Chinese Fake Out, instead of take out. Simple and filling.
I cannot find the yeast at Sam's or Costco but I do have some in freezer. Bought it a while back and it is still good. I like the look of that bread you made too. I am trying to make the sourdough you shared and it is not ready yet. I do love to make French bread and big rolls that taste like Kings sweet
Hawaiian bread, especially big enough to make bun sized for pulled bbq meat sandwiches.
Soups looked delicious too. I make a vegetable soup or lentil soup to carry for my lunches for the week. Very filling and frugal.
Have a great weekend!
Hi Lori, thank you for sharing this 🙏
You put so much time and consideration into your videos.
Love your videos ❤❤
Wash those beans!
We don't get that much in New zealand not even half our ham 20 dollars cheapest
I like your idea of stressing whole foods as opposed to a lot of processed ingredients. You also proved we can take basic ideas and switch them up when we find a great deal on an item we had not planned for. Switching the ham for the chicken definitely was a smart move.
I never was a soda drinker on a regular basis and have finally weaned myself off potato chips the last was Doritos. I had to ask myself what nutritional value was a bag offering ? At $5-$6, a large bag of Doritos is the same price as say a package of Hamburger which could make 6-10 meals depending on how I used it, and also the price of meat in my area.
Your little shopping buddy is a cutie.
Thank you for making a video like this with mostly whole foods! Please keep them coming, I love all the ideas. I’m glad you have Lane to keep in mind with your meals because I have 3 littles 5 and under, so I need kid friendly meals too ❤ Thanks again!
This is great. I'd love to hear how you handle children choosing not to eat the food?
You could mix your big salads in a pot
Thank you.
Bless you!
Thanks for another wonderful video full of meal ideas!!
You need a new stock pot
Aldi crushed tomatoes: They are the Best!!! My kids wont each tomato chunks but they dont realize that the crushed ones are still tomatoes…….I am not fessing up

They all look yummy, thanks for sharing them!!
Excellent video. Appreciate your hard work.
Your hairs looking nice to Momma. 🤩
I need to break down and get a membership I guess 🥴
Well that's cheaper than the flieshmans I got on Amazon, I used it working in the restaurants though so I'm comfortable with it.
Love your content! And I am looking forward to making these recipes — healthy and affordable!
Thank you! All meals look delicious!!
Yay its a Lori vlog! I have to tell you during Easter in 2022 Aldi put all there hams on sale after Easter i picked out 5 of the bigger hams and loaded them into the freezer we ate them throughout the year and i have quite a few bags of ham in the freezer along with a bunch of hambones we just ate the last ham this Easter it came out great so i needed to make some room in my freezer so i took 3 hambones out of the freezer and made 12 quarts of ham broth from those 3 bones i put them in crock pots for 12 hours the broth was so golden and rich looking. I am eating all whole xlean foods nothing processed i have a soy allergy and a gluten allergy as well. I still buy a few processed foods for my kiddos but they are perfectly happy with all the new unprocessed meals that i have been making as well. Thank you for all that you do and have a blessed week.
All the recipes look delish. Thanks
You can make these recipes vegetarian easily, if you do eat dairy. Sans the ham and egg. Thanks for the video!😻👍🐈
