It hurts my heart that people troll others about food. I was a social worker for 25 years. I’ve stood in MANY food bank lines with clients over the years, showing them the process. Helping people access food in our community they were unaware of was such a common thing that I typed up a food resource guide to hand out! People go through crisis and hard times. Giving them information, food, or even encouragements is not too much to ask. ETA: In my experience, it’s often those with the least are the most generous with what they have. So, what does it say about someone who refuses to give even kindness and respect?

I got my Knorr chicken powder and have used it twice in my rice. Delish. The tomato is next. I love all your children but your middle child is SO appreciative of your food. I'd say his name but I don't want to misspell it. Anyway, he's a doll baby as they all are!

Those bean and rice tacos look delicious. I would be just as excited to see this on my plate as Braedon was! You are soo right about that boullion powder. I use that stuff for everything. I am thinking that will be dinner tomorrow. I have the beans on today and the leftovers will make great refried beans tomorrow. Thanks for the idea!

Hi Brooke, been watching your videos and absolutely love the $5 meals. I am a senior dealing with food insecurity right now. Recently suffered an injury and can’t stand long enough to cook a meal. I use the microwave for everything. Do you have any budget meals that I can prepare that way? I would appreciate any suggestions you have. Love your channel and please keep blocking the haters. There’s no place for them here.

Sorry your getting bullied & hate comments. I’m autistic so I know what it’s like to be bullied or judged. Good for you that you can shake it off & not let it affect you. I’m not good at that. It makes me cry for days 😢 maybe you can make a video with tips on that – how to ignore the haters ❤️👍 Thank you for your videos. I really look forward to them and recommend them to my family

I absolutely hate that people are being like that!! I have used the food bank, food stamps and just whatever anyone would give us. At the time my husband was unable to work at the time and I was working at Walmart not even getting 40 hours a week. My mom and mother in law was helping us pay our electric and water. We got $192 a month in food stamps and I would make that stretch out til almost to the next month when we got the next. I was able to feed my in laws a few times with this as well as us. If it had not been for that help we got at the time we wouldn’t have been able to get barely anything to eat. THERE IS NO SHAME GETTING HELP!! If anyone see this in the Monticello KY area that needs something to eat reach out to me please! I will help you the best I can!
