I cooked my farro in a rice cooker with chicken stock (veggie stock if youre vegan). While it was cooking i roasted red, yellow and orange bell peppers along w asparagus. Once farro was done and veggies all roasted i chopped up all roasted veggies and comvined everything in a bowl. While everything was hot I threw some sun dried tomatoes (in olive oil) in. Flavored it with s&p and some fine ghost chili powder. Served with with some sous vide lamb chops. Delicious !!!!!

I know this is a few years old but I thought I would comment anyway. 1 cup of whole farro rinsed, three cups of cold filtered water, everything in the Instant pot on high pressure for 15 minutes for perfect farro every time, no soaking required. I love it cold on a salad but one of my favorites is turned into taco meat with some chipotle taco seasonings, black beans, cashew cheese, fresh salsa and avocado on a sprouted Ezekiel wrap tortilla. I always have a batch made up in the fridge.

Brought some farro home yesterday, so I found your video. I'm going to soak it overnight and try sprouting some first.
Thanks for your great video, clearly presented without wasting our time 💛.

I've had farro before and I absolutely love it! I've made a chipotle-ish burrito bowl with farro, diced chicken, black beans, and corn. It was absolutely delicious. I also made a vegan farro veggie bowl and I couldn't get enough of it.

I steam sweet potato and kale. Then make a salad with the veggies above, farro, and add a handful of chopped pecans and dried cranberries and mix. Then drizzle a oil free dressing made with orange juice, maple syrup, Dijon mustard and apple cider vinegar. My favourite salad 😋

thank you for this. someone gave me some farro and I'm like what the hell is this? I should have known my friend who is trying to convert all of us friends to be vegetarians was up to something, LOLOLOL. I didn't know how to cook it. She told me I could cook it like rice, but I don't trust her cooking, hahahaha.
