Ok Jill, this is probably THEE tastiest and thickest cheese sauce I have ever had. It tastes like cheese to me and my less plant based partner says it's pretty close but he is a weirdo. Lol. I did not have a 12 oz jar of peppers, only a giant Costco size so I decided to measure out 12 oz of pepper and subbed the liquid with a tiny jar of spicy mexican pepper puree and it was so yummy and cheesy and spicy! Yum!!! I served it on top of vegan taco salad tonight. Well done girl! Well done!

I don’t know how to thank you for coming up with this recipe. I only have a NutriBullet so I had to prepare this in 1/4 batches, but it was soooo worth the effort. My son and I both thank you. You have single handedly changed ur WFPB journey with this recipe. YOU ROCK!!!

I don’t have a vita mix blender, however I used our ninja blender and it worked very well. I took this exact recipe and blended it for about 10 minutes, then transfer it to a pot over the stove, on low heat. It looks amazing and we can’t wait to serve this!

Hello! I finally got to this recipe after the beginning of the year cleanse! I don’t have a heating blender and used Agar Agar in place of the cornstarch. After blending for 5 mins, I poured the portion needed into a bowl and ‘nuked’ it for about 1:30, stirring it at 30 second intervals! I LLLLOOOOVVVVEEEEE THIS!!!!!!! Alas, my family of carnivores did not…however, I will not stop, I will press on and one day they will all be joy-filled vegans!
Jill, Thank You! Even though I am newly back to WFPB, and trying to get my family on board, you give me hope and amazing, quick ideas!!!!!! Many blessings!

My wife brought some in, while I was doing some work on the computer. She had me toast a bunch of corn tortilla shells, before. I didn't know what she was up to. She brought the shells and the cheese back into the office. I was ready for a ho-hum experience. The liquid smoke DEFINITELY made it, for me. About a half hour later, I was on my third bowl of it. No lie!

I'm a big fan of twice-baked potatoes. This, along with those, and some green onions, and I'm going to be on my way, locking myself in my office and totally enjoying the experience.

Jill, this is SOOOOO DELISH! I halved the quantity and tweaked the recipe just a bit to give it a stronger, more robust flavor and O.M.G. I dare anyone to be able to tell the difference between this and dairy-based queso. Oh so YUM!!!

Jill, I made your delicious cheese sauce (with a couple of additions: 1 small can of salsa verde, a can of Ro-Tel and some garlic powder). I don’t have a Vita Mix, so after running my Ninja for 5 minutes, the mixture was very watery, so I poured it into a large NON-STICK saucepan and heated it up on a low heat, stirring constantly so it didn’t stick and create lumps. Heating it did the trick! It turned out great and tastes delicious. (I let it cool before using it as my moisturizer!😄)
    Thanks for your videos!
