Nice recipes, but a whole hour for a vegetable soup on high pressure?!? Those veggies are done in 5-10 mins in the instant pot.. it kinda defeats the purpose of the whole instant/energy saving pressure cooking thing..
Love these recipies! Just a tip, though. Please use a towel or something under the cutting board while chopping. Otherwise it may slip and you could seriously cut yourself!!
If you have that rubbery shelf liner ( used for under rugs & chair cushions too — prevents sliding) it will hold your cutting board still while you cut. You can also use a dampened dish towel. Thank you for delicious looking recipes that I cannot wait to try! ๐
What altitude are you at? It makes a difference, I at almost 5,000 feet so I have to add time. "Increase pressure cooking time by 5% for every 1000 ft above 2000 ft elevation (see table, below). Multiply the recommended cooking time by the number on the table. The result will likely be a decimal value just round that up to the next minute."

The chicken will release from the bottom of the pot without tearing when itโs seared. If itโs stuck, that just means itโs not ready to turn.

If you want your cutting board to not slip take a kitchen towel and wet it, wring it out until damp, then place it under your cutting board. You can also use a fridge mat or pantry mat, but at culinary school they told us the kitchen towel will always make it stick like glue to the counter. Just wash it with your other towels, easy clean up and no worrying about your cutting board sliding around and causing you to get hurt.
