It's so funny that you have to tell people to put the pot inside the Instant Pot. Do people really not have common sense? The word "button" is pronounced "But-ten", not "Buh-en".

Great recipe and so easy! I just needed to add a half teaspoon salt and a couple grinds of black pepper to add more flavor. I also added garlic powder cause I add garlic powder to everything!

Hi Kristen. I got my InstantPot from a friend for Christmas and used it for the first time today. After watching many of your well done videos I decided a simple pasta dish would be my first meal. It turned out great. When it was finished in the IP, I dumped it into a casarole dish, blanketed it in Mozza and baked it for 15mins. The cheese melted and browned up perfectly.
I did panic a little when I first started it on pressure cook (manual) because there was a bit of steam coming from the top and I was worried I did something wrong and everything would be ruined.
As it turns out, this is normal, but something no one on YouTube has told us about in any of the "How To" videos. The small steam loss is simply the IP bringing itself up to pressure right before it seals and starts the pressure cook portion.
Once I figured that out it was so simple. Just fill, press and wait.

Thank you for all your videos. I enjoy watching them and really learn a lot. I also just want to say, I find it so cute the way you say the word button. Because of your slight accent it comes out sounding like you say it "buttin". Makes me smile everytime I hear it.

Hi. I got an IP for Christmas. Yes, I was so scared to use it, but I made myself just jump in and go for it. My very first try (besides the water test) was vegetable soup. Unfortunately, I did not know that minutes on a pressure cooker differs from say my microwave so instead of two minutes, I set it for 2 hours😭😭😭. But, trial and error I guess..AND I read the manual. I did make other things and it came out great!! I love it so much. It's just getting past the fear at first😃😃…also, videos like this help so much!! Thank you!
