As we have a fully stocked pantry our goal this month is $25 a week for two people. It’s really eggs, dairy, and produce.

We do have a budget set aside in the event we find a really awesome deal on groceries.

I buy the bag of dried milk Wal mart brand… it’s really good 👍🏼 Much cheaper.
I love to keep it on hand for days when I run out of milk while cooking etc..
Not bad for drinking if it’s cold.

How much were eggs? I miss egg salad. I look forward to February grocery hauls! I think you could use a 4-6 qt pot. Check the Habitat store. Dry milk powder has been ridiculously expensive the past 5 years but valuable, imo. I will look for Nido. I didn't know there was whole milk powder. I need some, lol! Amazon has 2lbs, Anthony's (my picky friend likes the brand) for $20. You can always buy a gallon for the month and freeze
in glass jars, maybe 1 per week for baking and overnight oats? DT sells 32oz boxes of shelf stable milks (almond milk too) that are good for 7-10+ days after opening. I'm trying to find someone to donate them to the food pantry where I volunteer. DT also has pancake (you want the one with add water only, not milk, egg, oil) and baking mixes that are quite versatile. There is a pretty good pancake muffin recipe vid on ut. Muffins, cornbread and most mixes (cakes, sweet breads and loafs), even brownies, can be made in a muffin tin and frozen (portion control, cook once, eat often, save natural gas, have variety). I think you may need a muffin tin too. I spray or oil pans and only use parchment when baking no knead bread. It's expensive and, imo, unnecessary See Artisan Bread with Steve on ut. He makes quite a variety of no knead breads. It's <5 minutes and cheap to make. I just bake mine on a cookie sheet. I neither want nor need a bunch of kitchen gadgets in my small space (600sqft here. Your kitchen is at least 2.5x the size of mine). Flour, salt, water, yeast is all that is needed for breadsticks, breads, rolls, pizza dough. I add oats, nuts and seeds to mine too. Also check out the Make a Mix books at the library and you can slowly purchase items to make yummy treats from scratch. Just start with flours, sugar, kosher salt, baking powder, baking soda. A cheap coffee grinder will also make oat flour for baked goods, rolls, muffins, cookies, crusts etc. Google oats and you will be amazed at the zillion recipes. Applesauce may be used in baking instead of eggs and oil.

Many great ideas thank you. I will try the strawberry cake. Ice cubes go well with that milk. You guys eat very healthy. You always give me ideas.
What you have planned in Feb is a good idea. I save my spaghetti sauce jars. Any glass container. They come in handy.
When I shop at Walmart I always get something from the deli. They have affordable cooked food. I get popcorn chicken and potato wedges. Rice pudding is affordable.

You got ripped off on that nido. go back to the store and price check it. Esp. if you went to walmart. They always mess up on prices. ALSO! I've got a slow cooker lid for my instant pot, and you can probably use that pan lid (if it has a vent hole in it), if you want to slow cook in your instant pot. 🙂 It works better than the pressure cooker lid.

Dessert looked amazing! I lucked out because rice is my favorite food and you can do all kinds of different things with it. I even use it instead of pasta, but that may just be laziness.
