Great video! I really need to start baking my own bread again- I have seen the no knead dutch oven bread being made so many times, I need to make it! I think that doing the one store is a good challenge for those that can't get to more than one store, so I think that was a good move on your part 🙂. A tip I would like to offer is making up a jar with broken angel hair pasta and rice mixed so you have it in the pantry for homemade rice a roni. If you try to keep a pantry picking up a box of angel hair pasta, rice and bullion, you'll have it in your meal toolbelt😉.

That dutch oven is pretty! Love the color! It will last you many years and make many meals for your family. The good thing about using Walmart is most people have access to a Walmart and they typically have the lowest overall prices except sometimes Dollar Tree as you mentioned. The pink Himalayan salt is so much less at DT! Good variety of meals. If you have Worcestershire sauce, it is good to add to ground turkey or chicken to give it a more beefy taste. My pups are always in the kitchen with me too….looking for any ooops that fall on the floor!

I agree with starting with a boxed ingredient. My favorite is cheapo Mac and cheese with cooked steam in the bag broccoli and I add in about 1/2 can of beans. It stretches the meal and is fast/no brainer.
I also make the no knead bread and just recently learned how to make flour tortilla. Super easy and done in less than 30 minutes.
