I can remember when my kids were younger and I would take some old cd’s up to the store and get some money to buy some food. My husband was working on duty off duty and attending college (my husband is a police officer) I would stretch a nickel till the buffalo farted lmao 🤣 but nobody starved. People who have never had to struggle are clueless. Another thing is I still make these very meals and we love it. Tamara, I adore you. You are so sweet and very humble. You are a giver. You will always be a helper to someone else who needs it. I love that about you. I love and appreciate you. Your friend Kim ♥️♥️

Very nice! I just subscribe!! Some people are only happy making rude comments. Don’t worry. Majority of the world struggles and can’t afford shopping in the “organic isle” 😉😍 we belong to a food pantry. It helps us so so much

I just made that sausage tater bean meal on the crock this week, altho I add onions and cabbage shreds (maybe a coleslaw mix instead if I have it) and my kids call it Witcher Stew (from the show the Witcher) cuz its something that we think would be served in a pub or tavern in the show, lol.) Also,
those who complain or find fault with YOUR content are probably super unhappy with themselves in general, so keep up this amazing content for those of us who appreciate it, need it, and so we can share your inspiration with those who actually will find use for it. you dont make content for the haters, you make it for ME just cuz I like to watch, and for HER, who is struggling to feed her hard workin hubby & her 3 littles and you also make these vids for HIM who isnt a good cook but is a single dad just trying to make it & is looking to expand from just hot dogs and mac and cheeze! to something more substantial. OH and for THEM who are just starting out in life and havent gotten the experience in the kitchen cuz they were in foster care and moved too much to actually learn recipes- THATS who you make these vids for, girl. EFF them HATERS who criticize, well either EFF ''em or BLESS em, cuz theyre sitting here making mean remarks instead of trying to increase their happiness quotient. Those of us who are regulars, LOVE all you fab creators, so keep doing what you do, for US! we LOVE you!

Tamara these are really good meal ideas! I actually make very similar meals like these. There always seem to be that person who’s going to be rude or negative. Ignore those who obviously have never had hard times putting food on the table. The most important thing is being able to fill your family’s belly’s with food that will nourish their bodies. I’m the youngest of seven children and my mom made many budget meals that had to be stretched and I’m so thankful she was resourceful in doing that. Your showing how we can feed our families during this crazy time of high prices and I’m thankful for you giving us some really good meal ideas! Have a blessed weekend! 💗😊

Great ideas Tamara! I enjoy watching budget meal videos. We have been there. I was the only one working, low pay, we had other bills that needed to be paid besides food. Many times I work all week to get up on my day off early stand in line to get a food box. The goal was always how can I keep the lights on, house warm, rent paid, survival. It was encouraging to still in all of that our family had food. We survived. You provide a great service to others! Thank you!

I love smoked sausage, potatoes, and green beans. I throw a chopped onion in mine, sautee my smoked sausage first, and use chicken broth. I sautee the smoked sausage in my instant pot then use about a cup of chicken broth to scrap the bits on the bottle. I layer the meat, potatoes, onions, and green beans. Of course some seasoning then pressure cook for about 5 mins. So yummy ❤️

Why is it that everyone is so worried about someone's nasty opinions of others food choices? I get tired of everyone apologizing for the type of foods, or ingredients they are cooking with. Don't apologize or explain anything it only gives them more power. They are just miserable people inside if that is all they have to do, set around and judge others on their food choices, and may I add, on a channel they do not have to watch. Dont ever apologize or worry. Feed your family what you want and we will continue to watch, because you are awesome and are doing an amazing job, and truth be told most of us eat the same way you do. There may be a time coming soon that those judgmental, miserable people would be thankful for a meal like you are putting on the table. God bless you and your family.

Just a tip for a bit more flavor too is to sauté/fry up the sliced smoked sausage in a fry pan first before adding it to the casserole dish to be put in the oven with the potatoes and green beans. I know it adds an extra step but doesn’t cost anything. Looks yummy!

These negative people need to look at what is, not what they think it should be. If you have little money to feed your family you look for the most value for your dollar. Thank you for what you doing! 🥰🥰🥰

I'm so glad you do these videos. I live on disability and food stamps. I'm really picky and may not like what you fix but even if I don't, I usually get ideas of stuff I can make.
