Car picnics are a favorite for us too when traveling because it takes so long to stop and it costs a fortune to get food we don’t really want. No food waste always saves. You did great! The kids were probably more willing because you were headed back to Texas. 😁

I make my own brown sugar. White sugar and molasses. Put sugar in your mixer add molasses you can make light or dark. So much yummier!
