I'm going to try to make similar buns , but make sub sandwich style I stead ,have two steaks marinating in a dry rub , will roast garlic and grind the steaks , make meatballs , homemade sauce , cook up some bacon .. then , well . Then !
Mine was a bit more wet than yours but i replaced some of the flour with grinded oatmeal just to use it up in my house 😅 its baking right now so hopefully its fluffy still!!
Why is my dough getting stickier. I kept adding flour and it got worse.

I just tried this recipe but my bread collapsed! I did everything in the video and recipe. Why did it collapse? It didn’t turn out fluffy like yours.

What did you do with the rest of the mashed potatoes? You only used 2 tablespoons in the recipe.
could I use sweet poptato insteat of poptato?
I MADE THIS YESTERDAY. I substituted 100g sweet potato (garnet) and it altered the recipe. It required about 1/2c more flour to bring the dough together. At that point, I worried that there wasnt enough yeast to lift the dough…. but it worked anyways! The rolls were steamy & fluffy & the whole family loved it!! Also use an immersion blender or somthing to puree the potato, unless you dont mind lil flecks in your bread. I liked it that way tho…… ANOTHER GREAT RECIPE FROM HELLY!
