ATK, HI, some years ago, I bought my wife a KITCHEN AID LIFT BOWL 6 QUART, COLOUR ‘CAVIAR’, I had never seen that one even on QVC, when the KITCHEN AID LADY was there , but they sell MORE of the tilt head ones, the only accessory I bought was a spiralizer For veggies. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

We had an 25 yr old KitchenAid that worked perfectly. A few years ago we saw a good sale and purchased the Pro model. We hate it! It constantly shuts down after a couple of minutes, even when mixing something light. KitchenAid said this was due to either overheating or mixing something steamy. Neither was the case. Very disappointed, wish we had kept our old one.

I want a stand mixer with a free spinning bowl. I hated my Kitchenaid, got rid of it. I prefer to mix by hand. $210 is NOT inexpensive. Give me a Sunbeam any day but now they are too high too.

There's a video called "Restoration of a broken KitchenAid" where some guy completely tears down and rebuilds one of these for his girlfriend. Pretty fascinating to see what's inside and how it's put together.

⭐️KitchenAid has a service where you can send your mixer back to the factory to be restored. It took about two months and $200, but now my 27-year-old mixer runs like new. I use it almost every week for cookie dough or batters. I thought about buying a new, better one at Costco, but I would have felt bad about recycling my old one. I'm hoping that my mixer & I both last another 27 years!😉
