Your gardens look great! I am in Minneapolis and we have terrible drought too. I am probably pulling out my front lawn and going to drought tolerant plants and pee gravel patio.

I'm in Illinois next door. I'm surprised that you're still experiencing drought conditions there. I live downstate and we had a dry summer until August and now we've had so much precipitation that the growing season was late this year and everything has gone wild. Hope autumn weather is better for your area 🙏🍁🍂

Such a difference in plants and colors. Love your style!! With the elephant ear. What if one saved the elephant ear but then lost it, and then found it!? Can one plant it next year? 🥴

Thanks for this Caleb, just what I was hoping for, you have piqued my interest with the seaside hydrangeas, need to look into them. And you know Caleb, we will be watching for updates throughout the winter on the upstairs reno. Best wishes from Ontario, Canada, zone 5B.

I can relate to the drought, as we are also suffering from lack of rain here in SE Wisconsin also zone 5B. Those clouds just will not squeeze themselves out and give up their water!
