The easier the better for me! Especially since I work full time – saving time where I can definitely helps me. I love being up and awake earlier in the mornings, if not I feel like I've lost some of the day.
I have been LOVING my 30s! I feel as if I've grown the most as a person in this season from getting married at the very end of 29 and being a mother. So many new beginnings and adventures have happened! My creativity has just been pouring out of me as well. I finally felt like I could decorate my house the way I want to. Before when we were in Utah since I knew it was temporary, I saw no need to decorate. I did the bare minimum there, but here in PA I'm slowly adding things as I go and just love it so much! And most of all, as of this year more than ever, my relationship with God has truly taken flight and I am amazed!
I have always been one who believes things happen for a reason.
Haha! We have little fingerprints and random spots of food/drinks on the walls and ceilings too! I've been embracing this messy season with small kids quite a bit. And I'm the same way with laundry! It tends to pile up and up if I don't stay on top of it every day.
Those pumpkin bars looked delicious! And wow, beautiful sunset! Sunsets were just incredible in Utah, I used to watch them all the time and couldn't get enough.

As a 44 yr old mom of 2 teenage girls, I couldn't agree more with what your saying. I wish as a young mom I would have heard this to "Embrace the season you're in " , maybe I would have enjoyed it a bit more and not felt so stressed or like I wasn't measuring up. Now as an older mom I embrace it to the full and treasure the time I have left with my girls still at home. I lost my mama to breast cancer in February of this year and walking through this season of grief is tough, some days I don't want to do all the homemaker, homeschool, farm wife chores, but I do. Starting my day with devotions and prayer really helps me to put it all into perspective and be reminded of how God is there lifting me up , giving me the strength I need to serve my family and his people. Thanks so much for sharing your heart. God bless you and your family.
