Tried this banana cake recipe today. The cake came out really well. Almost took 2 hours for it to cook on low flame. I guess the cooking time depends on the width of the cake vessel/mould.

instead of maida and sugar i add it wheat flour and jaggery it came apur really very delicious yet healthy

I tried this recipe today and it came out very well. I had actually halved the recipe cause the quantity mentioned above was a lot for my cooker tin measurements and it came out perfect nice. And I made the egg version of this cake, instead of curd I added egg. And I baked it in cooker with salt instead of water and I baked it for around 40mins( medium low heat)and I had preheated the cooker with salt for around 10mins. The cake had a lovely colour in the side and was very soft.

Tried it.. tastes good.. but the method of pressure cooker didn't work should keep a ring or stand in the cooker instead of bowl .. I used idli cooker n pressure cooker both.. idli cooker took 1.30 minutes while pressure cooker kept running out of water n took 3 hours.. but the taste of the cake was good.
Its taking lot time to bake. I haven't used baking powder, used only baking soda. Is it because of that?
