Wilders little hand seemed so eager to try cracking an egg ! Since you get so many eggs from chickens and bulk buying, I’d bet he would love if you set some aside for him to practice cracking into a bowl.. what a fun school day that could be for him.

When the Walmart website does that to me…I click on the refresh button and then it works…..I believe there are some shortages but I believe so much of it is being because of so many videos (not yours) are putting people into panic mode and then they panic shop like they did at the beginning of the pandemic…..I am doing like you….I stock up by just buying one or two items on each time i order or go to store…

I’d die and go to heaven if I had a freeze dryer. Between the price and the lack of space, my husband says no no no. 😂
When we move, I may invest in one because long term, it’s a good thing.

I did Kroger pick up last week for groceries. 76 things I ordered and they were out of 25 things. It’s just crazy. Produce is very scarce here in southern Va. Hubs stopped by Walmart to grab produce I so desperately needed. They didn’t have a selection to choose from either. The past two months it’s been 3 grocery stores just to make a complete grocery haul for the week.

When I bake banana bread I like to grease the pan with butter then put 1/4 cup of granulated sugar in the pan and turn the pan until the bottom of the loaf pan is totally covered with sugar. Then pour In your batter and bake like normal.when you turn it out it gives the bread a crunchy type glaze on the loaf of bread.

Have you ever thought of purchasing a whole cow for your family. The meat last my family of 7 ( youngest 14) about a year or a little longer. We also purchase a whole hog. Which supples us with pork for the year. And I get chicken from an Amish store by a 40lb box. It lasted at least 4 months.

I havent had trouble finding proteins, it's the oddest things, potatoe chips and cream cheese. And I think paper items are a little bare on the generic brands. Oh and got ham and beans in the crockpot , corn bread is happening 2 night…all.caught up ..Birthday party is over 🎉🎉🎉 lol

I bought your February meal plan specifically to try and do a once a month haul for groceries because there are so many shortages here (and of course we’re in a small town with no large town options nearby). We’re feeding out a calf and 3 hogs but the waiting game is definitely hurting our family of 7.
