    I am happy for you that you had an eventful and hopefully relaxing holiday. Thanks for sharing! I think it's completely okay not to buy everything organic at any price. The most important thing, in my opinion, is to wash the non-organic food very well. I once read a study that showed that adding baking soda to washing water can reduce pesticide residue on vegetables by almost half. I've been doing it that way for a few years now.

    That is a beautiful part of the country. Had to fly to Idaho on New Year’s Day a few years back. We watched the Potato Drop At midnight, it was great. The ride back to Georgia was amazingly spectacular. Glad you had the opportunity to go there, I’d love to see the redwoods one day
