I love this one! The tres leches recipe I looked up before this one had wait times of a couple hours for each step. Sorry I’m not a baker! I’m not doing that!! Lmao. Thanks for making it easier!

You should be glad I'm not your neighbor because I would be at your table every day and night with fork or spoon in hand ready to eat anything you make. Don't worry, I would pay for my meal with cash in hand as well.

Wow. I made this yesterday and I have to say this has to be the best tres leches cake I’ve had. Wow it was so amazing. All my family loved it. And we’ve had plenty of tres leches cakes in the past as we come from a Hispanic culture. I didn’t want to complicate myself with the separation of the yolks and all those things since my time is very limited with a little baby so I went for this recipe. I didn’t have white mix so I actually used yellow and turned out fantastic.
I used 3 tablespoons of white confection sugar instead of 2
I made my own evaporated milk because I didn’t have any.(just bring milk to boil and let it reduce by about half the quantity took me like 20mins still frequently medium heat)
Decorated with peaches and in the center I did three roses of strawberries(there’s a really easy YouTube tutorial )
Anyway I’m so happy I made this, thank you for an amazing recipe. You have gained a new subscriber ❤️

Maybe it was in another video but I swear at some point you recommended the marshmallow whipped frosting? I distinctly remember you saying that your kids loved it so that was another one of your easy hacks. I just reviewed the entire video again and I don’t hear you saying that? Can that be used as a frosting as well? Have you ever done that?

I've made this cake a few times, and my family loves it. I use the Betty Crocker Vanilla Mix or Yellow, (I prefer the Yellow for this recipe) and I dont use 12 fluid oz (355 ml) heavy cream for the milk syrup, I use 2% milk and put a bit of the heavy cream. It also tastes good without the whipped cream topping!
