Yeah I was in this cafe down in south Texas that claimed to have homemade Tomato Basil Soup. And I have to admit it was tasting good until I found the soup can lid in the bottom of my bowl. They said we don't know how that could have happened. Needless to say they comped my lunch but it just proved that, their Tomato Basil was not homemade like they claimed.

I made tomato soup in Culinary arts back in high school. I hate tomato, but it tasted like bolognese! I ate it when my wisdom teeth were removed. Unfortunately lost the recipe. Gonna try this!

What is diced fire roasted tomatoes. Is it the same as tinned? I just wish you kept the packaging on tomatoes tin.
I made this and it is perfection! My 3 year old keeps asking for more. The immersion blender left it chunky; next time I’ll use a regular blender for a smoother texture. But dipping grilled cheese in this…omg🤤
