Looks so delicious I made in small ramekins you recipe is so delicious my sons favourite yours taste better with the cheese. Thank you for delicious recipes.
I used to layer or sprinkle the cheese on top of the mashed potatoes and let the time in the oven give it that browned crust that you get with homemade mac and cheese. A restaurant that I used to work at also served it with a mac and cheese topping instead of the mashed potatoes. Win-win, either way. Have a great Holiday Season!

I cracked up when she spit out the bite of raw potato….we used to get pieces of raw potatoes to eat when we were kids. And I still do it today. I like to use a river for my cooked potatoes. This looks like a great recipe…thank you!! ❤️

Why didn’t you call it Cottage Pie 🤦♀️ it’s a disgrace that an authentic dish shepherds pie that uses lamb, is getting ruined by beef. This is not authentic shepherd’s pie. I guess it’s Americans who do the beef method or beef is cheaper meat.
