Richard, very nice recipe but 1 thing I have to do is buy fesh salmon & grind , about 50 yrs ago we were at kin family house, they made canned salmon cakes & I got sicker than a dog, found cans were outdated for a year, now I can't eat canned salmon, lol, just the smell & I am able to tell the difference twinxt fresh & canned

My goodness my mother made this quite often but I never have. The dark stuff in the can turned me off. What is that Richard? Do you leave that in the salmon or remove it. Thank you sir. ❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰
