I like my fish fried with extra virgin olive oil, sea salt and white pepper. You made that fish really well. Sometimes, the simpler preparations of fish are the are the best. With rice, or pasta, or vegetables, it's a great meal. Cheers, Ry! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘โœŒ๏ธ

I live in Michigan where whitefish is huge up north. Tilapia is a great substitute when I get the craving at home. Broiled tilapia seasoned simply and broiled with fennel fronds and lime slices replicated a delicious whitefish dish I had at an semi fancy bar in Mackinaw City.

As someone who did not eat seafood until recently, I have been loving tilapia. I use my portable pellet smoker and bake it for no more than 10-11 minutes. It's absolutely fantastic and you can eat on $7-8 a meal. I'll have to give the pan sear a try as well, looks good!
