    Thank you for your video.

This is one of my favorite soups to pressure can for my storage.

The price of Hams here have gone through the roof BUT! When they are on sale I get one or two and make a traditional "Boiled Ham Dinner".
I'm not crazy about this meal but the old folks are, … so I prepare it for them and make sure there's lots of meat left on the bone for my soup.
The meaty bone is simmered for a day or two with some Onion, Carrot. and a little Celery or Celery Seed, whatever I have.

Then I make my big pot of soup and I throw in any leftover meat from the dinner. I like my Split Pea soup to be meaty.

I'll fill pints and pressure can them for the time it takes to pressure can the "meat" not the Peas or Soups.

Now this is way more involved but the results are worth it. I'll get a dozen pints easy.

Thanks for showing me it can be done with the canned ham I have! … But I'll have to go through a whack of my home canned before I'm ready for the canned ham.

I have pressure canned my own Ham in the past. Just remember to add liquid because it's a processed meat and not a raw pack and you don't really need to add salt either.

    Good luck.

Very nice, Anna! I started an old-fashioned blog about ten years ago because I found that people had no idea that they actually could cook! You are doing a great service.
