When I was a kid we had cornmeal with milk and sugar for breakfast
I hate all beans. Can you make a video on what to stock and meal plan without Beans 🤔
We buy grits in 50 pound sacks. We have a grain meal, so will grind the grits if we want meal or flour instead of the grits. Also old-fashioned oats can be soaked in your bowl overnight, then zap for a minute in the microwave in the morning. I set up our bowls and whatnot the night before.
Hope your back is better
I ate corn meal growing up for breakfast yummy good watching
Funny I was at Aldi today and same scenario with the saltines. And they had it marked way up with a so called sale going on and the sale was the price it has been for over a year. I wondered if that was why it was gone bc people thought it was clearance 😆
I watch your videos at work, wish they went longer
Very timely message, we are working on this right now.
I am in Canada, and our dollar store has been above a dollar for a long time but yes i have heard on a few channels that your prices are going up.
Yes dried beans are very cheap but what if you have no way of cooking them, then they are useless and you can eat canned beans right out of the can if you need to.
People also need to learn to eat less.
You are right about those “baby” carrots in the bag at the store.
There is such a thing as baby carrots. They are picked when they are small instead of waiting until they are grown.
I have three places where I shop and a couple that I go to once in a very long while.
How do I get the links

For stocking up on Rice,Lentils, dry fruits and nuts, spices visit the nearby Indian grocery store like Patel Brothers. They have a Diwali sale during this time every year where we usually stock up all the items on sale.

Gotta love those screaming good deals! Yes, yes, yes. I have been able to find some great deals. You are so right! We need to be prepared to buy. It is what it is. I loved the "Buy this, not that" section you two did. I look forward to the cornmeal tips…
I'm fascinated about your vegan lifestyle. A show where you talk about your reasons, and possibly faqs such as how to get enough protein would be interesting.
They can't keep selling stuff for years at 1 $ ,prices have increased .The only way to keep prices low is to reduce the size of the item
If something is selling for 1 $ it might not be the best value you need to work out the price per unit ( oz or gram )
Thank you. Great words of wisdom. I love that you taught us how to make "quick " or instant oatmeal. That alone saves so much money. We don't purchase the packets, but around our house, I like the old fashioned, whereas my husband likes the quick. Now we can have both with one purchase. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
Love this video
I cook Old Fashioned oats most mornings. It takes 12 minutes. 6 minutes on high and 6 on low with our gas stove. I can hear the timer everywhere in the house so get lots of other stuff done.
I buy 25lbs of rice for $10. I love that price
Buy from the church of the latter day saints. They have Bishop houses in a number of different communities you're allowed to go by a couple days a week and they have number 10 tins of a number of items and they're inexpensive enough that even though they last 20 or 30 years you can use them now and them and know that you are not overspending
SOME Dollar Trees will become Dollar Tree Plus and have sections that cost more. For example there are 4 or 5 Dollar Trees within 10 miles of my house so 2 of them may become the Plus stores
