Just made this. Yum!! I ran put of bouillon, so I just used the broth from a can of chicken. Plus the meat. It was the best rice I've made yet!
I've never added peas or carrots to my rice.

Do you add chopped garlic and onion ?
Unless you have enriched rice, you should ALWAYS wash your rice. The starch dulls any flavor attached to the rice as well as any ingredients added to the dish. There are also pollutants that are found naturally in the soil the rice comes from, but just because it's naturally occurring doesn't mean it's safe. You should ALWAYS wash unenriched rice. We do it here in Guanajuato.

I used the vine tomatoes and onion with garlic, but guess I forgot some type acid, cuz even tho it came out fluffy it was bland, I slipped the vegs cuz I like no vegs in my rice
